Where do I park and enter the building?
Parking is available on both sides of 7th Street as well as parallel parking along Main Avenue. here are handicap parking spaces along 7th street nearest the alley as well as the East end of Main Ave in front of Wimmer's Diamonds.
There is a set of double doors next to Salon Duo on Main Avenue and a door along 7th street (a number 10 is above the door) for you to enter. For wheelchair access into the building, please use the doors on Main Ave next to Salon Duo. There is a single step up at the 7th Street entrance. My office is located on the main floor and there are purple signs that point you down my hallway.
What if I need to cancel my massage?
You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. I understand that things do come up, but please be courteous to other clients and your therapist who have reserved the time just for you. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. If you do not call to cancel your appointment at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled time or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be billed for the full price of the scheduled service. This must be paid before you can reschedule another appointment. You may send a friend or family member in your place, then a fee will not be charged. Automated appointment reminders are provided via text messaging and e-mail, however, we will not be responsible for technological errors. Please write your appointment time down in a secure location.
Please disclose any Health Conditions or changes before your appointment. A client health in-take is filled out by all clients. It is very important that you inform your massage therapist of any pregnancy, health problems, skin irritations, infections or injuries prior to your appointment. Depending on the condition, approval from your doctor may be required. Certain types of cancer, blood conditions and high risk pregnancy all require consent form a doctor.
What should I wear for my appointment?
You should undress to your desired level of comfort. About half of my clients completely undress, while the other half of clients leave their undergarments on. This is completely up to you. You will be properly covered or draped by a sheet and blanket to keep you warm and comfortable during the massage. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. You will undress and dress in the privacy of the massage room.
B Relaxed Massage holds the highest standards for safety. In the event that there is inappropriate behavior, sexual or otherwise, I will terminate the massage session and the client will be asked to pay and leave immediately. You will no longer receive services here.
How much should I tip?
Gratuities may be given to your therapist at your discretion in appreciation of wonderful services, however they are not required. Standard gratuity is 15-20% of the treatment price.
Post Massage:
After your massage appointment you will want to drink lots of water (as you should anyway!) as your body can let go of many toxins after a massage treatment. You will want to flush them out of your system. The next day or two you may feel sore. This is normal, however if you feel sore for many days after, please inform me at the time of your next appointment and things can be adjusted. It is also important to stretch after a massage, this helps increase your flexibility and promote healing to injured tissues.
